Visa Application Fee

The MRV fee of $131.00 per visa applicant is paid to the Operator Assisted Information Service at the time you schedule the appointment for the nonimigrant visa interview.

Please ensure that you have your credit or debit card details available when making the call. We accept Visa, MasterCard or American Express; we do not accept Visa Electron or Maestro cards.

If a third party will pay on your behalf, the card holder must be available during the call to speak with the agent and authorize payment.

What happens once the fee has been paid?

On confirmation that your credit or debit card has been accepted, the operator will schedule the appointment. Confirmation of the appointment date and time will be sent by email together with a receipt for the MRV application fee. You will be required to present the Nonimmigrant Visa Interview Confirmation letter and copy of the MRV fee receipt on the day of the interview. Failure to do so will result in the cancelation of the appointment.

— Important Information Concerning the MRV Fee—

The MRV application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. There will be no refund of the fee, regardless of whether the visa is ultimately issued or refused. There will also be no refund of the fee if you schedule an appointment, cancel and do not reschedule within 12 months.

The receipt is valid for one visa application within twelve months of the date of payment. If you are unable to attend the interview you may reschedule an appointment for any time within that 12 month period. The receipt is not valid for use by a third party.
