Ulysses S. Grant Ancestral Homestead
President and Civil War General Ulysses S. Grant's
ancestors lived in this cottage. The cottage has been restored to
include a Civil War exhibit about President Grant.

Andrew Jackson Center and U.S. Ranger Center
The Andrew Jackson Center consists of a restored
farmhouse that was the home of Jackson's parents and includes a number
of exhibits about the 7th President. Included in the gardens is a
museum dedicated to the U.S. Rangers, an Army regiment who were first

This living history museum is designed to give
visitors an experience of the 18th and 19th century Ulster emigration

Harbor Museum
The Harbor Museum preserves part of the Minnehaha,
the last passenger ship immigrants used to make trips to the United
States. Well over 1 million Ulster immigrants arrived in America
between 1720 and 1850.

Gray's Printing Press
Gray's Printing Press is where John Dunlap, the
printer of the Declaration of Independence and America's first daily
paper the Pennsylvania Packet, was trained.

Stonewall Jackson Ancestral Home
General Stonewall Jackson was one of the most famous General's in the Confederate Army. His ancestral home is located here.

Londonderry
Known as Derry this city has a number of interesting artifacts including the Earhart Center at Ballyarnet that marks the location where Amelia Earhart landed to become the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic. Londonderry was also one of the leading ports for those emigrating to the United States, and the town New Londonderry, New Hampshire was named after the city.
