Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program
Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program
01 January 2012
The U.S. – UK Fulbright Classroom Teacher Exchange Program began in 1924, making it the oldest U.S. exchange program with the UK. Since its inception, it has benefited over 16, 000 American and British teachers. Each month we highlight alumni of various State Department programs. This month we asked the returning UK teachers and the incoming U.S. teachers at the U.S. Embassy’s annual reception to discuss their experiences. Watch the teachers discuss how the Fulbright Teacher Exchange experience has affected them personally and professionally
.
More information about our exchange programs can be found here and on the website of the British Council.
