Foreign Agricultural Service
The Foreign Agricultural Service's London office represents the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in the United Kingdom.
Working from the U.S. Embassy in London, its mission is to represent the interests of U.S. agriculture and promote the sale of American food and agricultural, fisheries and forestry products in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The Office provides trade services both for local companies seeking U.S. products and for U.S. companies wishing to develop markets in the UK.
The Counselor for Agricultural Affairs also has responsibility for the USDA office in Dublin, Republic of Ireland.

15 February 2012 European Union and United States Agree to Historic New Partnership on Organic Trade The European Union and the United States announced today that beginning June 1, 2012, organic products certified in Europe or in the United States may be sold as organic in either region. The organics sector in the United States and European Union is valued at more than $50 billion combined, and rising every year.
