The United States Consulate performs notarial services for those persons wishing to execute documents in the presence of a United States consular officer. The office is open for notarial services between 1:00pm and 3:30pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon with the exception of all American and local public holidays. You must telephone (028) 9038 6104 or email consularbelfast@state.gov to schedule an appointment in advance. The applicant should bring a passport as means of personal identification. The fee is $30 for the first signature/seal and $20 for each additional signature/seal. We do NOT accept personal checks. We accept cash, either dollars or the sterling equivalent. We also accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Novus/Discover and Diners Club credit cards and debit cards that bear the Visa or Mastercard logo.
