Extra Visa Pages
If your passport's visa pages are becoming full, but your passport is still valid and in good condition, you may apply by mail for additional pages to be added to your passport. The Embassy in London or the Consulate in Edinburgh can process this service for you. Processing time is approximately five working days. Only one set of extra pages (24 pages are in each set) can be added to your passport at a time, but if needed, and if your passport remains in good condition, you may have up to three sets of extra pages inserted into your passport. Once this limit is reached, you will need to apply for passport renewal.
Application Requirements
Please submit the following by Royal Mail Special Delivery:
- Your valid ten- or five-year passport;

Passport form DS-4085: Application for Additional Visa Pages. Please ignore page one of the instruction pages, as it does not apply when applying for extra pages in the United Kingdom. Follow the instructions on this page. For tips on completing the DS-4085, follow this link. NOTE: If applying for a child under the age of 16, one parent should sign the application.

Fees: no fee is charged for this service.
Applying by Royal Mail Special Delivery
Please submit your passport application by using the Royal Mail Special Delivery service, which is available at any UK Post Office. Please do not use the regular mail service. Your envelope should be addressed to:

To ensure the safe return of your passport, you should also enclose a pre-paid self-addressed Special Delivery envelope that shows postage paid up to 500 grams. Inquiries regarding Special Delivery Mail should be directed to your local Post Office.
