Ambassador Attends Royal Opening of the Welsh National Assembly

Ambassador and Mrs. Tuttle attended on February 28 and March 1 ceremonies relating to the Royal Opening of the Welsh National Assembly. During their second visit to Wales, the Ambassador and Mrs. Tuttle also visited the South Wales Islamic Centre; toured the Artes Mundi exhibit at the National Museum and Gallery; and met with American travel operators. In recognition of St. David's Day, President George Bush released a statement which highlighted the strong ties between the United States and Wales.
