Ambassador Hosts UK International Visitor Alumni Reception
On May 25, Ambassador and Mrs. Tuttle hosted a reception at Winfield House for nearly 100 past participants in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). The IVLP is the flagship professional exchange program of the U.S. Department of State. The program's objective is to promote broader knowledge and direct experience of the United States among talented young professionals who have the potential to be future leaders in their society. Among the distinguished group at the reception were several Members of Parliament and leaders from business, government and the arts. The Ambassador encouraged alumni to share the deeper understanding gained through their IVLP experience to help others form their opinions based on a fuller picture of what drives American thought and actions.
