The Embassy is located on Grosvenor Square which is in Mayfair. If you are traveling by London Underground, take the Central Line to Bond Street or Marble Arch. If approaching the Embassy from Oxford Street, walk down North Audley Street, which is the street opposite the Marble Arch Marks & Spencer's store and Selfridges. Access to the Embassy is via the Security Checkpoint.

Those requiring assistance should make themselves known to the security guards at the gate.

Using a GPS or Google Maps, you must use the postcode W1K 6AH.

Security - How To Get Into The Embassy

PLEASE DO NOT bring Electronic devices such as mobile phones, Blackberries, iPods, iPads, notebook computers, PDAs, headsets, remote-entry automobile key "fobs" or anything with a power plug or battery, as they are not allowed within the Embassy grounds. 

We also strongly advise that you do not bring large bags, such as backpacks, suitcases or packages to the Embassy as there are no storage facilities on Embassy grounds.  Please consult this  list of Left-Luggage storage facilities (PDF) for possible locations to temporarily store such items.

Only person(s) seeking consular services will be admitted into the Embassy. Exceptions will be made only if those seeking consular services are under 18, or if they are disabled and require assistance and their name is on the access list.  

Applicants who do not follow these instructions will experience considerable delays at the security check point which could result in the interview being cancelled
